Today, leave the busy streets of Saigon and travel to Ben Tre Province.. Along the way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda before continuing to Hung Vuong Pier.Upon arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, board a boat on the Ben Tre River, one of the Mekong River’s tributaries.

Continue through narrow waterways and peaceful villages by rowing boat, bicycle or local motorised cart. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before travelling onward to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta.

Rise early for a motorised boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the Mekong Delta’s best-known markets. Observe local traders and colourful boats carrying fresh fruit and vegetables before continuing into the surrounding countryside.

Return to Can Tho, check out and travel back to Ho Chi Minh City for your domestic flight to Dalat. Upon arrival at Lien Khuong Airport, meet your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel.

Begin the day with a hands-on Vietnamese cooking experience at Red Bridge Cooking School. Visit Hoi An’s colourful local market and interact with local vendors while selecting fresh ingredients for the cooking class.

Continue by boat along the Hoi An River to the cooking school, where you will discover the herb and vegetable garden and learn how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy the dishes you have prepared for lunch, followed by a fruit and vegetable carving demonstration.

In the afternoon, explore the narrow streets of Hoi An’s historic quarter. Visit Chua Ong Pagoda, a Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky Ancient House and the Japanese Covered Bridge. End the day with a relaxing sunset boat trip.

After breakfast, leave Hanoi for Sapa by road. Enjoy a scenic journey of approximately five hours through northern Vietnam, with a comfort stop along the way.

Upon arrival in Sapa, check in to your hotel before taking a guided orientation walk through the town. Discover the Old Church, local market, dining areas and shopping streets.

Continue to Sau Chua Village, a lesser-visited Black Hmong community located in the mountains above Sapa. Enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding landscape and have the opportunity to interact with local villagers and learn more about their traditional way of life.

Return to Sapa and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, set out on a full-day trek through the spectacular mountain landscapes surrounding Sapa. Walk through valleys decorated with terraced rice fields and visit remote hill tribe villages to experience the cultural diversity of northern Vietnam.

Choose from three trekking options according to your preferred level of activity: soft trek (approximately 3 km), medium trek (approximately 6 km) or long trek (approximately 12 km).

Along the way, meet members of the Hmong, Dao and Dzay communities and gain an insight into their traditional lifestyles and cultures. Return to Sapa in the afternoon.

Start the day with a visit to one of the colourful local markets in the Sapa region. Depending on your travel date, the market may be Coc Ly on Tuesday, Sin Cheng on Wednesday, Can Cau on Saturday or Bac Ha on Sunday.

Explore the market stalls and discover handmade products and local goods traded by the different ethnic communities of northern Vietnam. The specific market visit will be confirmed by your travel consultant according to your travel date.

After lunch, leave Vietnam’s Northwest and travel back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening, approximately 9:00 PM.

After breakfast, your driver will take you from Hanoi to Halong Bay, travelling through the countryside of the Red River Delta. Upon arrival at the harbour, board your overnight cruise and begin exploring one of Vietnam’s most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage destinations.

Enjoy lunch onboard while cruising among the dramatic limestone karsts and emerald waters of Halong Bay. In the afternoon, explore some of the bay’s islands and visit one of its famous caves, such as Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot, depending on the cruise itinerary.

Weather permitting, there may also be an opportunity to swim at a sheltered beach. Return to the cruise for dinner and spend the night onboard, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Halong Bay.

Optional: A scenic seaplane flight over Halong Bay may be arranged for guests travelling on cruises departing from Tuan Chau Harbour. This optional experience is not included in the tour price and is subject to availability.

Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over Halong Bay and, depending on the cruise schedule, join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

Enjoy a light breakfast before continuing to explore the bay by boat or rowboat. Return to the cruise and check out while sailing back towards the harbour. Enjoy brunch onboard and take in the final views of Halong Bay’s spectacular limestone formations.

Upon arrival at the pier, your driver will meet you and transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for your departure flight.
